What is meant by GMP and how does it distinguish Buddha’s Herbs from other Supplements in the Market?

A Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) is a production and testing practice that helps to ensure a quality product. On June 25, 2007, FDA published in the Federal Register a final rule that established a regulation (21 CFR part 111) entitled Current Good Manufacturing Practice (CGMP) In Manufacturing, Packaging, Labeling, Or Holding Operations For Dietary Supplements (72 FR 34752). The Dietary Supplement (DS) CGMP rule in 21 CFR part 111 requires persons who manufacture, package, label, or hold a dietary supplement to establish and follow current good manufacturing practice to ensure the quality of the dietary supplement and to ensure that the dietary supplement is packaged and labeled as specified in the master manufacturing record.
Buddha’s Herbs manufacturing, packaging, labeling and distribution operations are GMP compliant. This helps us in producing products as per the required quality. All the manufacturing plants where Buddha’s Herbs products are manufactured have GMP certifications. Identity Testing is performed on every raw material ingredient before production. Finished products are then again tested at an Independent Laboratory to verify the Certificate of Analysis (COA). All the products are manufactured in compliance with much stricter California’s Proposition 65 requirements.
We work hard to bring you best quality dietary supplements and Herbal Teas at the most affordable prices possible.
